If I am a victim of someone housed in the Correctional Facility can I be alerted when the inmate is released?

​Please contact Crime Victim Services for Mifflin County. You can view their web page under the departments section of the Mifflin County website.

Will I get to visit with an inmate as soon as I check in?

​We have 6 visiting booths available for the general public so if they are full you may need to wait until one becomes available.

How old does a person have to be to visit an inmate?

​You must be 18 or older to visit without a parent or legal guardian present.

What day does a money order have to be on the inmate’s account for them to be able to order from commissary?

​Money orders should be received by the facility by 9pm Monday because the order is completed at 7:30am Tuesday.

When will inmate “John Doe” go to another facility?

​Mifflin County Correctional Facility cannot release transport information.

When will inmate "John Doe" go to court?

​Only the committing authority can answer that question accurately.

How many visits do inmates get per week?

​Generally inmates can receive a 1 hour visit 2 times per week.

What do I do to keep people in jail from calling me?

​If it occurs again, listen to the complete message and there is an option to permanently block all calls from Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

What are the visiting hours?

Regular hours are Mon through Fri 1:30pm to 4:30pm & 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Inmates can have a 1 hour visit 2 times per week unless they are under misconduct sanction restrictions.

The last full hour of visitation begins at 7:30pm.
